FAQ’S

Live Link is a platform that connects venues, businesses, and private parties to various forms of live entertainers to hire for a wide variety of different gigs. These venues, businesses, and private parties will simply create gigs based on their needs, and entertainers will be able to either put in an offer to perform that gig, or the venue can directly offer the gig to the entertainer first.
Anyone that wants to hire live entertainment, or anyone who provides live entertainment! Common types of businesses and entertainers we have sign up are…
Venues - Bars, restaurants, hotels, country clubs, comedy clubs, etc.
Entertainers - Solo musicians, bands, DJ’s, karaoke DJ’s, comedians, magicians, etc.
As of right now, our users are primarily based in the Greater Boston and Florida areas. We will be expanding to other major cities very soon!

When a venue signs up for Live Link, our “search” page will show up with entertainers in your area. You may filter entertainers to your needs for a gig by using the filters on the left side of this page.
To create a gig, go into the “gig” tab, and select “create gig”. Here, you will be able to select the date, time, and rate for the gig, as well as adding any specifics to the gig, such as gear/equipment that you or the entertainer need to provide, parking information, etc.
All entertainers will be able to see you in their search pages if their filters match up with yours. For example, if you are looking for a solo musician, an entertainer that sets their profile as a solo musician will show up on your search page. They will also be able to put offers in on gigs you have created.

When you sign up for Live Link, our “search” page will show up with venues that have open gigs in your area. You may filter venues and gigs to your needs by using the filter on the left side of this page.
When you find a gig that aligns with the type of entertainment you provide, you will see a “submit offer” button. Clicking this will notify the venue that you are interested in working their gig. Before you both confirm the gig, you will be able to freely message each other for whatever you may need, such as questions about where to park, what equipment the venue can provide, etc.
All venues will be able to see you in their search pages if their filters match up with yours. For example, if you are looking for a venue that needs a solo musician, that venue sets any open gigs they have as “solo musician”, and that gig will show up on your search page. They will also be able to offer you a gig if they find you first.
